Chocolate Chip Cookies by Kathryn Rushing

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

Mix together Flour, Salt, and Baking Soda in a small bowl and set aside.

In a larger bowl beat Butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until creamy. Pour in flour mixture and stir until well blended. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes depending on size.

  • 2-1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Butter/Margarine (softened)
  • ¾ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¾ Cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 bag chocolate chips (12-ounce bag)     
  • 1 Cup chopped nuts (optional)
