Banana Bread by Kathryn Rushing

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Cream Sugar with butter. Add eggs one at a time beating well. Stir in Bananas and lemon juice. Mix Flour, Baking Powder, and salt in another bowl. Add to Sugar mix and mix quickly. Stir in nuts. Bake in greased 9X5X3 loaf pan about 1 hour.

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Butter/Margarine
  • 2 Eggs  
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 ½ Cup Mashed Bananas (3 or 4)
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Chopped Nuts
